Upper Ninety Sports was founded in 2003
by former professional soccer player, Jim Foley. After retiring from professional soccer in 1997, Foley went into sales working
for a consulting company, 2 medical software start up companies, a Fortune 12 software firm and worked for a small local sports
management firm in Nashville, TN before founding Upper Ninety Sports and Upper 90 sports, LLC.
Foley grew up in Guilford,
Connecticut and attended Xavier High School where he was an All New England, All state and All conference player. After high
school, Foley attended Stetson University in Deland, Florida where he was an All conference and All south standout forward.
After graduating from Stetson University with a Sports Management degree and a business minor, Foley played professionally
for the Hampton Road Mariners and Charleston Battery from 1995-1997 winning the USISL Pro League Championship with Charleston
in 1996. Foley also coached the Men's and Women's programs at Chowan College in North Carolina in 1994.

in Franklin, TN with his wife and daughter
